This report was prepared by KEHATI (Indonesian Biodiversity Conservation Trust Fund) as administrator, to inform TFCA Kalimantan implementation progress including activities of administrator and grantees, the financial and grant status in 2015. This report contains 5 main topics i.e. (1) administration of TFCA Kalimantan, (2) coordination and consultation with multi stakeholders, (3) progress and achievement of grantees, (4) capacity building for administrator’s staff, and (5) financial and grant status which also included 2014 Independent audit opinion. Brief information on implementation TFCA Kalimantan in 2015 including: the finalization of the cycle 2 through signing of contract cooperation with 16 grantees consisted of 9 grantees for regular grants and 7 grantees for special grant. Total Commitment for cycle 2 grantees is Rp 52.884.876.000 (equivalent to USD 4.407.073). During this period, selection process of Technical Assistant Provider (TAP) was significantly progressed by OC approval on the first rank of the shortlisted candidates. Further detailed scope of work and budget for TAP phase 1 and phase 2 will be discussed and approved by OC in early 2016. Futhermore, grant process for cycle 3 has been started, and by the end of December 2015, administrator had received 62 project concepts/proposals for further assessment process in 2016. Based on monitoring and evaluation, most of the cycle 1 grantees (started June 2014), has been implemented their projects as their annual work plan, which contains community engagement, facilitation & capacity building for the targeted local groups to further develop community based forest management (CBFM); survey and study on natural resource management, participatory mapping for villages planning and baseline data usages.
